I have some ideas for comic strips, so I thought I'd create a blog for them. They're poorly drawn and won't get me any money, but that never stopped professional cartoonists.
My motto: SUM ERGO DECIPIO!
Thanks! I feel a little more confident at times, especially since many of these pages lately have been inked on the friday they come out, when I've come home from work and hardly slept. Thank you Photoshop!
For those who haven't been reading since about October of last year, shame on you. But I will explain this character quickly. Benny Bear Rachel V (pronounced ra-shell) was created last Fall more or less as a "guide of conscience" for me. Whenever I get too offtrack, he pops up and puts me right. Imagine an imaginary friend, helping you figure things out while you're a child. Benny Bear is a little like that...only he's drawn...and very hostile...like a loud little angel on my shoulder, smacking me upside the head.
Thanks Tom--hopefully the Family Circus people won't take that as some kind of infringement. Jas-I got a special treat--I'm bringing a copy of the comic up when we visit over the 18-20th. You "non-relatives" will just have to look at my archives.

LOL! Perfect comedic timing with this one. Your drawing is getting more confident all the time, too (love that last panel)!

I love the Family Circus comment. The whole thing's a laugh riot, but that one got me good.
